GLOBE AND MAIL-A few months ago, a small town honoured Toronto fund manager Eric Sprott by naming a street after him. The town isn't in Canada, it's in Ethiopia.
In February, officials in Bati named one of the town's main streets "Eric Sprott Road" and the local marketplace "Eric Sprott Market Centre."

A decommissioned ambulance dedicated to former Ottawa mayor Marion Dewar will soon be in service in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
