Nixon Peabody hires new managing partner

Nixon Peabody LLP has named Jeffrey Lesk managing partner of the D.C. office, which has more than 100 attorneys.
Lesk succeeds Laurin Mills, who has held the post at the D.C. office for the past three years. He will continue to focus his practice on intellectual property and media-related counseling and litigation.
Lesk, head of the firmās syndication practice, has worked in the federal government and private practice for 30 years in community development, affordable housing, real estate syndication and securities, and real estate acquisition, development and finance.
