600,000 jobs created in 10 months in Oromia, Ethiopia


ethiopian-youthAdama, May 17 (WIC) – The Oromia state trade, industry and transport bureau said it has created jobs to more than 600,000 unemployed youth over the past 10 months.

Opening a training focusing on the development strategy of micro enterprises yesterday, bureau head, Fekadu Tessema said the jobs created during the reported period were outcomes of the development strategies the government designed by the government ethiopian-workingto avoid poverty and minimize unemployment.

He said the youth were engaged in agriculture, trade, construction, industry, mineral extraction and other development activities.

    600 thousand job is not bad, but not sufficient for 50 mn people.At least 85 % of the population must work if to kill poverty. To do so political system change is vital.Tribalism, developement and democracy never work together.

    Democracy, rule of law education shall lead to more jobs and high standard of living.
