Ethiopia – Meles says Africa’s voice heard at G-20 Summit

ep-melesg20Prime Minister Meles Zenawi of Ethiopia said Africa’s voice was heard and success was achieved at the G-20 Summit.

The premier said attention was given to Africa’s voice as the necessary preparation was carried out earlier.

Meles made the statement here on Saturday while discussing with the German Parliament (Bundestag) President, Professor Dr. Norbert Lammert.

The premier said the Summit has given due attention to affairs of the continent. Major points were discussed by concerned bodies.

Meles said Ethiopia and Germany have firm bilateral relations. The premier also expressed appreciation to Germany for the capacity building assistance being provided to Ethiopia, according to a senior official of the Ethiopian government, who attended the discussion.

Professor Dr. Norbert Lammert on the occasion said Ethiopia is one of few countries exercising democracy. The government of Germany has taken into consideration the democratization process in Ethiopia.

Existing cooperation between Ethiopia and Germany is based on firm foundation and mutual interest.

i am rally ashemed of having seen the killer with G20 states! it is a well known fact is that Meles has killed, forced to leave their country his oposers and put in prisons so many innocent ethiopians and because of that he has to be judged by international court of justice like his friend the presideant of Sudan!
