Turkish Company to build Multi-million Birr Engineering Factory in


A private Turkish company known as Izdas Demir Celik said it has requested for establishment of a heavy machinery manufacturing plant with 80 million Birr in Ethiopia.

In an exclusive interview with ENA, Company Board Director Atila Yurteci said the factory will produce metals and other machineries.

He said company has already requested the Oromia State Government to supply it 20,000 square meters of land for the construction of the new factory.

The construction of the factory is expected to transfer the 35-year of the technological know-how of the company to Ethiopia, according to Yurteci

The Board Director pointed out that his company is desirous to set up the engineering industry in Ethiopia.
