Do you know that Menilik II sold millions of Gurage slaves to Europians; most of them were Gurage girls.

All around Gurage, guns are firing and bombs are exploding for freedom, justice and democracy. In Oromo, in Sidama, in Somali, in Benishangul-Gumuz, in Amara, in Afar. Almost all corners of Ethiopia are up in arms for a change. For example, today's news is very encouraging, http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/8360199.stm.
We should take the winning news of EPPF, OLF, and ALF to Gurage. Such success news of the people will encourage Gurage to start shooting at oppression.

Listen, berndo!
1. asabaqi alwedim
2.You can post a Tigray model if she is not a prostitute.

Slavery was and still is high crime that no one should take so lightly. Other than your villification, there are no documented cases of Gurages sold as slaves. But, in the 19th century, slavery occured in Africa at varying degrees, some regions more affected than others. Regions near seas and oceans were much more affected. Read Sea, Indian Ocean and Atlantic Ocean regions heavily suffered from raids for slaves.

Tigray was a fertile slave market after the death of Yohannese and the disintegration of his forces. The shiftas who hunted Tigrays for slaves included Tigray hodams. It was the slave-hunt equivalent of the hawzen massacre caused by irresponsible TPLF against Tigrayans. A fact well established that Tigrayans can be so cruel against their own. The British and French Slave ships on the Red Sea were busy over the years. Fiji, Sychelles and Mauritius are former British colonies for you to go searching for roots. The French took their Tigray slave bounties to Madagascar and other smaller French settlements off the east coast of Africa.

Sale of Tigrays as slaves has been a centuries old story. Sabeans sold them to the Arabs in the Middle east. The most memorable Tigray slave was the grand father of Pushkin, the Rushian novelist. Sabeans also took Tigray lands for their settlements and imposed their language and culture. The origianl African identity completely wiped out and the negros who are now rebaptised as Tigray were converted to the Sabean language and culture, proudly wearing the forced identity of their annihilators to this day.
